How it works

Three steps, and the middle one takes about two minutes.

1

Earn the tag

One player from each game is named MVP and handed an MVP bag tag at the field. The tag has a QR code on it.

2

Register it

A parent or guardian scans the code, or comes here, and fills in the nomination — including a photo of the player holding the tag.

3

Get invited

Every registered nomination is invited to play in an MVP Games event. We email and text you the details for your state.

Have these ready

The form goes quickly if you have them to hand.

  • A photo of your player with the MVP tag Required — the tag in the photo is how we confirm the nomination.
  • Your team name exactly as it appears on the USSSA site Guest players: use the team you played with.
  • The state you played in, and your age division and team class
  • A parent or guardian email address and mobile number That's where the nomination and the invitation are sent.
Submit by 12:00 PM Monday Nominations close at noon on the Monday after your event, in the local time of the event you played in.

Questions

Does it cost anything to be nominated?

No. Registering a nomination is completely free. If you go on to accept the invitation and confirm your player's spot at an MVP Games event, we'll send you those details separately.

Who can be nominated?

Any player who was handed an MVP tag at the field — baseball or fastpitch. The nomination has to be registered by the player's parent or legal guardian, not by the player.

Which states is this running in?

The MVP Games are expanding across multiple states. The nomination form lists the states with events on that weekend, so if you were handed a tag, yours will be there. If it isn't, choose "My event isn't listed" and type the event name — we'll sort it out from our end.

What happens after I submit?

You'll get an email and a text straight away with a link to your player's nomination page, which you're welcome to share. Details about the MVP Games event follow by email.

My event isn't in the list. What do I do?

The list only shows events from your state on the current weekend, so it stays short. If yours isn't there, choose "My event isn't listed" at the bottom of the dropdown and type the name in.

Will my player's nomination be posted publicly?

Only if you give permission on the form. If you do, the nomination — your player's name, team, age division, and photo — may be posted to our social media and shown on a public nomination page. If you'd rather it wasn't, or you change your mind later, get in touch and we'll take it down. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

Can I nominate more than one player?

Yes — register each player separately. If the same player is submitted twice we'll spot it and hold the second one rather than announcing it twice.

Got a tag this weekend?

Register the nomination before noon on Monday.
